National Patentability Criteria
- Novelty and inventive step are the main conditions.
- Medical use claims have no basis in the law. European patents validated in Turkey under the European Patent Convent can have claims with first or second medical use limitations.
- Methods for treatment of the human or animal body by surgery or therapy and diagnostic methods are not allowed.
- Filed-earlier publidhed-later: National prior rights exist
